Why Men Are Awesome No. 2 - In His Element

There’s something very attractive about a man talking about something he loves.

You ask one question. And his whole face changes.

A man was telling me about his vintage car and how much he likes working on it. There were photos, details, and explanations. He was letting me into a little part of his world.

I liked seeing how much he enjoyed it. The care he put into it. How pleased he was to show me.

Then I started wondering what he looked like with a little grease on him.

Yes. Women’s minds go there quickly too.

But that’s what happens when you get to see a man in his element.

He gets animated. He knows his stuff. You ask another question, and he’s excited you want to know more.

And you do.

Maybe you’ll remember every detail. Maybe you’ll need a refresher.

I would need a refresher.

But you remember how he looked talking about it. How easily he smiled. How much fun it was to see this side of him.

I love that men have these things that absorb them. Things they work on, learn about, get proud of. And I love being invited to take a look.
